In an interesting interview with Eurosport, the French coach Patrick Mouratoglou analyzed the reason that leads Carlos Alcaraz to often beat his rival Jannik Sinner.
Carlitos has the merit of being the only tennis player capable of beating his Italian rival in all the matches played this season. The 21-year-old in fact beat Sinner in Indian Wells, French Open and China Open.
The ATP No.1 has shown more consistency in the remaining seasonal commitments, so much so that he has accumulated an advantage over his opponent of almost 5 thousand points. In fact, in the final of the season Alcaraz was overtaken on the second step of the podium by Alexander Zverev.
"I see Alcaraz winning more often against Sinner because he can create more. He has this extra power and he can compete with him also in terms of mobility. The problem is that Alcaraz makes a lot of forced errors where Sinner doesn't. In their clashes there are a lot of ups and downs and continuous changes," explained Mouratoglou.

You can't relax, you feel that you can't build because you are always in danger, on every shot. I think the most important thing is not to be in danger on every shot but what he does with consistency. He has everything under control, he has this level of aggression combined with control, that's what makes him so special," he concluded.
The Spaniard and the Italian are considered the two strongest and most talented tennis players of the new generation. They have already collected 6 Slams (4 Carlitos, 2 Jannik - ed.) and promise to duel to win many more. In this 2024 the two young champions have equally divided the 4 most important and sought-after tournaments in the world: the Italian won the Australian Open and the US Open, the Spanish French Open and Wimbledon Championships.
