I can't even begin to imagine all the strong emotions that Andy Murray must have felt yesterday, during the ceremony organized for him on the Centre Court by the organizers of his beloved Wimbledon Championships. A ceremony that exuded emotion from every word spoken by Andy, by his interviewer Sue Barker, by the crowd, by the fans, by his brother Jamie, by his box with his mother Judy and his wife Kim and also by his colleagues, former legends and rivals, some of whom were present on the court to pay him the due honor.

"We were proud to play against you. And with you. All of us. Always. With you."
Magnificent.

As mentioned, the Serbian champion wanted to personally pay homage to Murray by appearing directly on Centre Court, hugging him first on the court and then inside the stadium. But not only Djokovic, because in addition to the Serbian, Laura Robson, Cameron Norrie, Jack Draper, Daniel Evans, Tim Henman, Martina Navratilova, John McEnroe, Holger Rune and Iga Swiatek took part in the ceremony. Roger Federer was present at the All England Club, but not on the court, while, inside the corridors of Centre Court, Murray also met Daniel Vallverdu and Daniela Hantuchova.
