BREAKING: Rafael Nadal's coach shares shocking update on Paris Olimpics withdrawal

The 22-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal has caused anxiety among his millions of fans by cancelling the two training sessions scheduled for today at the Roland Garros Stadium: his presence at the Paris Olympics is at risk. Rafa has decided to skip the first with Alexander Zverev, due to a problem with his right leg that occurred yesterday afternoon during the last training session.

His coach Carlos Moya himself has sent out a further alarm signal. The Spaniard's coach has made some statements to journalist Rafael Plaza.

In the words reported by Radioestadio Noche, Moya admitted: "I can't guarantee that Nadal will play. It was a setback and we decided that Rafa would rest today without training to recover. We're giving ourselves 48 hours, we have to wait," he said.

The next few hours will therefore be crucial to find out if it's a serious problem or fatigue from the energy spent last week in Bastad. After participating in the draw ceremony of the Olympic Tennis Tournament together with his historic rival Andy Murray, Rafael Nadal has made a decision that is starting to cause concern. However, to reassure fans, there is his almost certain presence at least in the men's doubles on Saturday, paired with Carlitos Alcaraz.
